Poetry Slams!

Poetry slams are an important part of the creative arts scene. They are a vital medium of expression and a way to create and build community, solidarity, and family among BIPOC across the country and the world. The moments we create, the way we fill public spaces with these poems, and the way we capture them on video serve as a monument to the worlds we are creating together—something that can be seen all over the world.

Through the Done For DiDi national and international platforms, we share video streams of poetry and other cultural events to give hope and sustenance to those who may not be finding accessible communities in their own geographic location. Restore National, Inc. also hosts occasional poetry slam events and workshops, both virtually and in person.
